Appeal Mechanism

PASP applies appeal mechanism based on the Rector’s decree No. 2781/UN4.1/KEP/2018 Chapter XI Article 26 regulates the appeal procedure, stating that the students have rights to complaint the marks over their assignments or tasks given by academic staff. The appeal process takes several stages. First, students can complain directly to the lecturer and then the lecturer clarifies it based on evidence of the learning process, such as proof of attendance, individual and group assignments, class participation, quizzes and final assignments. Second, students make a complaint through the head of the study program who then mediates to the complained lecturer. If it is proven that the lecturer made an error in giving the assessment, then a correction will be made. Third, complaints are made by students either individually or on behalf of the student organization during the academic dialogue between students, lecturers and the head of study program in each semester.
