Educational Philosophy

Public administration study program (PASP) has formulated an educational philosophy as a core value in the process of teaching and learning. The educational philosophy is to help students become civic minded individuals with skills of leadership in services, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration. The civitas academia of public administration seeks to educate students with the above capacities through inside and outside class-room learning activities, including wider community engagement. What we mean by civic mindedness is that it generally involves three different criteria; engaging in social contact with wider community, expressing an interest in government, and using media (or social media) for public affairs and public good.
